Welcome Party will be held on June 27 at c.a. 19.00 in Shuvalovsky Building of Moscow State University. Detailed information will be given during ISP2016 registration (included in the registration fee)
During the conference time, two excursions will be organized. You can choose one of them (included in the registration fee).
The first one will be the evening-night bus sightseeing tour around Moscow on Tuesday, June 28, from 20.00 until midnight. The second one will be the daytime bus sightseeing tour around Moscow on Thursday, June 30, from 15.00 until 19.00.
Please note that after the evening excursion buses will be provided only to the limited hotels (preliminary: Korston, Astrus, Salut, Budapest, Petr I).
Tour plan includes: Red Square, the Kremlin view from the Sofia quay, Cathedral of Christ the Savior, the monument to Peter I, House on the quay, Novodevichy Convent, Moscow State University, Sparrow Hills (Vorobyovy Gory), Poklonnaya Hill, Triumphal Arch, Kutuzov Avenue, New Arbat Avenue, The Boulevard Ring, Manege Square (Manezhnaya square), Teatralnaya Square, Tverskaya Street, Pushkin Square.
Moscow city tour is the best way to get a feeling of the city and to get acquainted with this old and at the same time rapidly developing megalopolis. With the help of the professional guides you’ll visit the oldest part of the city, walk Red square, drive along the Kremlin walls, see the golden domes of the main Russian churches, stop by one of the oldest convents located at a picturesque bank of the Moskva river, see famous Moscow Stalin’s high buildings and among them the State Moscow University. Breath-taking panoramic view of Moscow opens from the observation site at the Sparrow hills.
